Loved your website, found it with a search of Peter Tuttle at www.google.com. My great-grandmother was Nancy Jane Smith Chadwell, daughter of Marshall Smith, son of Alexander and Susan Tuttle Smith. I think I may have located the grave of Jane Tuttle Smith, Marshall's first wife. I am curious about your finding of Jane being James H. Tuttle's daughter. I would love to exchange information with you. God bless and keep you, Dave Parman.

I am curious about your John Smith, husband of Sarah Mosley and father of Nimrod Smith, born about 1802. I recently discovered that my ancestor Nimrod Smith's parents were John and Annie. I wonder if Annie might have been a nickname or a middle name of Sarah. We believe that my Nimrod was born in Hardy (now Hampshire) County, (West) Virginia around 1800 and died 1866 in Lewis County, West Virginia. Do you have any further information that might help? Thanks very much. I enjoyed your website. Perry V. Zizzi

Great site.I really enjoyed reading about all the Cobbs. My gr.grandfather was
Anthony Blackburn Cobb b. Margate England in 1842. He was a banker in the
1880's . Maybe it was Cobb's bank. I was told the Cobb family bank printed
its own money!!.They were also involved in shipping and owned a well known
(at the time) brewery. Maybe down the line there will be a connection. Keep up the good work. regards, John.

Samuel Jefferson Cobb, Jr.
Houston, TX 77096-6232
I have enjoyed exploring your website about our family. I have only recently
discovered that my Cobb lineage descends from Henry Cobb, the Pilgrim Elder, of Barnstable, MA, through his second wife. The family line traces from Barnstable to Pomfret, CN, to Caswell Co., NC, to Anderson Dist., SC, to Tishimingo Co, MS to Clarke Co. (Mars Hill Community) now Oconee Co., GA. I can make a photocopy of "Cobb Brothers Five" by Thomas Sutton for anyone for the cost of copies and postage. I would love to exchange information about this line of Cobbs. Contact me by email or snail mail for the names and dates.

Rob & Sally Lambert
South Solon, Ohio
Do you have any other information regarding Sarah Lambert's siblings? We have a Samuel Lambert, born ca. 1799 in Wythe Co. VA. His wife's maiden name may have been Johnson. His children married into the families of Hounshell, Wolf, Thompson, and Grosclose, all from Wythe Co., VA. Seeing a lot of duplicate first names also.
Site URL was sent to me by a Noe cousin. Mastin Green Noe was my ggrandfather. Minty Blanton was my step-ggrandmother. Their children are listed in your database with FNU. Their Children are:
Jarvis - Uncle Jarv married "Fannie" LNU, their kids are:
Jack James Sylvia Susie Agnes Margie Deloris
Aunt Mossie, is alive and lives in Mt. Vernon, KY -
she had at least one child, Leroy.
Unlce Wilts married: Marie - LNU, and their children are
Eddie Paul, Calvin and Jess.
Uncle William married a woman named Bess. I don't think they had kids - may be wrong. He lived in NY during his adult life, and died on the homeplace there in Mt. Vernon, Rockcastle Co., KY. I think he may have also been married to Tilda Blanton - not sure about that though.
John D also lived in NY and married twice, first to a woman named Rose, and
later to a woman Name unknow, John D did not have children, and he too died on the homeplace in Mt. Vernon, Mar 24, 1995.
You have Uncle Grant in your database.
I do have a few pictures, you can contact me at email@example.com.
Please put a reference to the Noe's in the subject line.
Renee (Tedders) Hermann
I stumbled across your webpage today and was shocked and pleasantly surprised to find the 1912 Taylor School Picture from Tedders, KY which included 7 of my uncles and aunts in the picture. The 7 are older siblings of my father, only one of whom I met when I was a child in the 1970s. My father was Roy Layton Tedders, born in Tedders, KY; great grandson of George and Angeline Tedders. I don't know very much about my family heritage but I am so pleased that I was able to learn about my great-great grandparents and, see a picture of my great-great grandmother, as well as the childhood pictures of my uncles and aunts (most of whom I've never met). If there is anyone out there who can shed more light on the Tedders family, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Renee

Mary I. Jarvis
South Lyon, MI
My husband was James Allen Jarvis, who was born in Barbourville, KY in
1921. He died in 1992. His father was James Dutton Jarvis, who was mayor of
Barbourville at some point in his life. His father's name was Henderson Jarvis.
They are all buried in the Barbourville cemetary with a large Jarvis monument,
near the shelter toward the back. The names of JD Jarvis and his wife Zella
are listed on the pillars at the entrance of the cemetary. I was wondering if
there was any connection to your family.

My husband,James Ray Kirby was born in Pikeville,NC to Jesse Kirby and Mary Denning Kirby; his father was Amos Kirby who married Sarah Forehand.
