I have been here before and was trying to see if this line [John Emory Johnson] was in my mother's. Still not sure.THERE ARE SO MANY JOHNSON'S... almost as many as SMITH'S!!! Mom's dad George W. Johnson was the son of John Johnson; her mom was Minerva Belle "mam" Wyatt the daughter of John R. "Pap" Wyatt. All from and around London, Kentucky area. Thank you for your time, if you have any thing that might help a novice it would be appreciated. Jackie "JJ" Bain
would love to hear from someone about my last name and if we are part of the Graham Clan

This site is great. I am granddaughter of Willis Ray Cobb who married Alice Elvira Harkleroad (daughter of Ruthie Ann Lyons and Henry P. Harkleroad). Willis Raye Cobb descended from Henry Cobb of the 1700's.

My Great Aunt Phine (Eliza Holland-Gross) married Sylvanas Gross who was a sharecropper (harvested tobacco) on the Carr's farm near Lothian, Maryland. He had a brother named Malcolm that lived near by. Aunt Phine was his 2nd wife. Daisy was his 1st who died. Their children were: Mary, Pynette, Iva, and Buckley. I would be happy to communicate with you to find out more.
First, your site is wonderful. My Grandfather was Oliver Perry Cobb. I am the granddaughter of his second wife, Amanda (Mandy). Like Janet Foster, I am looking to find our line. Oliver Perry Cobb's father was Joseph, and his mother was Julia Ann Nickell. Joseph's father is thought to be John Cobb; again, the possibility of the out of wedlock child (Joseph), with the mother possibly being named Savannah who maybe married a Cottingim, I am still searching. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for this wonderful site. Charlotte
Great webpage. One small error. Anthony Broughton h/o of Susie Taylor is not buried in the Taylor and Broughton cemetery on Alex's Creek.
Thoroughly enjoyed browsing this site. My gr.grandfather was Anthony Blackburn Cobb b 1842 in Margate Kent U.K. Any information would be much appreciated.

I was so excited to see your web page! I am a descendant of Levi Jackson, and have always been told that he was a cousin to the famous "Stonewall" Jackson. It sounds like we're all related to each other -- do you know the connection? Please e-mail me!
I'm not sure if I have the right Lucy Smith. I'm trying to find out information on the lady who owned the house I live in. Her name was Lucy Smith until she married Charles Morris. They lived at 209 East Park Avenue in Berlin Wisconsin. If you know whether I have the right Lucy or not, please email me. Thank you.

Just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much I enjoyed viewing your info. Also, you have a Carl Cobb married to FNU Prince. Just to let you know her first name is Sallie. She was the d/o Martin and Lottie Prince. She has sisters by the name of Mary and Pearlie also. I suppose her children were named after them. She is my half 1st cousin once removed. I have a picture of her when she was about ten or so. I would love to know if you have any direct connection with this family so that I may contact them. I would love to be able to share info about the family with them. I'm sure they may want to see photos of Sallie, Sallie's parents, and Sallie's great grandparents (tintype). Thanks again for sharing your info!
