I'm doing a family history search, and I'm a descendant, it is too compliacted to put down here, but it starts with Samuel Woods Sr. I have researched the information on the website " Descendants of Samuel Woods Sr. and it all connects up. I'm trying to find the connection to my Cherokee bloodline so am checking all sites that might provide that link for me.
Respectfully Myrtle Knight
P.S. I'm not sure if its important, of if my information is correct, but you have James W. Baker that married Sarah Eversole as James Wilson Baker, yet in a message on the website it says that his mother was unwed when she had him, tho his dad's name was Jack Baker, there was never a merriage, and he was named James Woods, then in later life he added the name Baker, so he was James Woods Baker. if you know for sure please let me know so I can set my information straight.

Linda Cobb Harrington
Hi! I'm researching the Cobb Family & have hit a brick wall. My greatgrandparents are Copleb Cobb & Margaret Morrison Cobb. He was from Indiana & they moved to Harrison Co, Ky to live. Would appreciate any infro. Tahnk you, Linda Harrington
I'm not a part of this family heritage but I am proud to say my life was greatly enriched by a close friendship with Linda during her years at Camp Lejuene, N.C. and by the acquaintance of her family in Barbourville. Linda's passion for teaching was always clearly evident, as was her ability to exceed at that very passion. This was a pleasant experience visiting this site. I am proud to have known Linda, and I wish her continued joy in her life.

I am a decendant of Job Broughton (wife Mary Lewis). Feel free to email me if you are also decendants of Job. Thanks!!
I am looking for documentation that Job and Willoughby Broughton fought in the Battle of Moore's Creek Bridge. I find many references to their participation, but they are not on the official roster maintained by the Natl Park Service. To get them listed, DOCUMENTATION must be provided, and I am totally striking out with locating this. Can anyone help?
